serving the community.
Vision/Goal: To see all receive the love of God from local churches, businesses and individuals. That no one will go hungry. That all in need will receive a hot meal. And a place to sit and get encouraged through prayer for their hard time they are facing. To let them know that there are many people in this county who truly care about people. And also to let other people know there is a great need of this service here. To see all churches, businesses and residents come together. For we never know when we or a family member may be the ones in need.
We provide: Two meals a day from Monday through Saturday, for all people regardless of race, color, creed, age or financial status. A Sunday dinner is served after our outside service that starts at 3pm every Sunday. Also free health screening is provided by Wesley Nurse Debi Laurents, RN. Spiritual counseling and food pantry is provided with no stipulations but to be hungry spiritually and physically. We partner with Ladies of Charities and provide vouchers when needed. We also provide pick-up and drop-off transportation from downtown Bastrop all along Main St. On Fridays we have bingo and board games for the seniors. But all are invited to join the fun!
